Angels are creatures of good, spirits of love, and messengers to mankind. They protect and guide us.
Atlas Angel Aircraft are configured for, and dedicated to, the role of dropping up to 9 skydivers at a time.
As well as having Angel Wings tattooed on the underside of the wings, Atlas Angels feature big sliding doors with handles and steps in all the right places.
With their 720 horse power turbine engines they climb to 12 000 ft in around 14 minutes and land back on the ground around the same time as the skydivers who just jumped out.
Atlas Angels are flown by Commercial Pilots with SkyDiving experience; they are specifically trained and rated on the Atlas Angel and for the role of para-dropping.
The Atlas Angels are named after ArchAngels – Gabriel, Michael, Uriel and Raphael… So far…The original Atlas Aircraft C4M Kudu appeared in South Africa in the 1970s to serve the SA Air Force. They operated efficiently and safely in the hot and high conditions that prevail in South Africa. The new-look and modified Atlas Angels have been upgraded with 720 horse power turboprop engines for additional power and climb, as well as safety in the air.
